Sip Cabinet Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 16, 2026. This policy describes Sip Cabinet 1.0.

Your information stays with your collection

Sip Cabinet stores your saved drinks, personal drink entries, ratings, preferences and written notes on your device. This information may be included in your device backup according to your Apple settings. Sip Cabinet does not run an account service for this release. No advertising, tracking or analytics SDK is included.

Camera and selected photos

Camera access is optional and requested when you choose to photograph a label. You may select a photo through Apple's photo picker instead. Label recognition happens on your device. Scan photos are not uploaded to a Sip Cabinet server or to an AI provider. An ordinary scan photo remains in the active session; switching sections clears that session.

If you save a drink request, the selected photo and the brand, flavor and notes you provide are saved in an exportable request file on your device. Exporting that file sends its contents to the destination you choose using Apple's share sheet. Sip Cabinet does not submit the request automatically.

Purchases

Apple processes purchases and payment information. Sip Cabinet uses StoreKit on-device to check whether your Plus purchase is active. The app does not receive payment card details and does not send your transaction history to a Sip Cabinet server. Apple's privacy policy governs Apple's processing.

Feedback and links

Feedback is optional. Your draft stays on your device until you clear it or choose to share it. If you send feedback to our support contact, we receive the content and contact information included in your message and use them to respond. App/iOS version is included only when you leave that option enabled. The app does not attach your collection or scan photos to feedback. External websites and sharing destinations process information under their own policies.

Deletion

Delete individual drinks from their detail pages, or use Set → Delete local data to remove your collection, personal entries, ratings, preferences, saved drink-request files and feedback draft from this installation. Exported copies and device backups are controlled by their respective destinations and Apple settings. Deleting data or the app does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage it in your Apple account.

Unavailable services

AI processing and community sharing are not enabled in this release. Enabling either in a future release will require updated disclosures and applicable consent before information is sent.

To ask about, correct or request deletion of information you have sent to support, contact the email above. We cannot access or remotely delete your on-device collection; use the in-app deletion controls described above.

These support pages are hosted by Cloudflare. Like other hosting services, Cloudflare processes connection information such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the website. We do not add advertising or analytics scripts to these pages. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
